Dr. Pierre Gagnon obtained his doctorate degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medecine at the University of Montreal in 1993. He then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery (IPSAV) in 1994. Dr. Gagnon has practiced in private small animal clinics, principally in the region of Montreal, notably in the emergency department at Centre V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire DMV in Ville St-Laurent. He was co-owner of a clinic in Montreal for 7 years before acquiring H\u00f4pital V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire de L\u2019\u00cele-Perrot in 2008. Dr. Gagnon is a conscientious veterinarian who offers quality care based on the most up-to-date and pertinent medical studies. It is Dr. Gagnon\u2019s main priority to be able to offer a variety of treatments that include preventive, medical, and surgical options adapted to the needs of each individual patient.<\/p>\n

Dr. Gagnon, manager extraordinaire of H\u00f4pital V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire de l\u2019Ile Perrot, made the decision to move our location to a brand new 7200 square foot building in order to offer the best possible service to our growing clientele. Dr. Gagnon\u2019s vision, experience and desire to offer his clients veterinary services in a modern, pleasant, welcoming place, led to the acquisition of the building at 400 Grand Boulevard in Ile Perrot in May 2019 and the subsequent transformation of the location into a state-of-the art full-service veterinary hospital. Dr. Maude Lebeau graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medecine in St-Hyacinthe (University of Montreal) in 1994 (Doctorate in Veterinary Medecine). Dr. Lebeau completed another year of intensive internship in small animal medicine and surgery, receiving her diploma in 1995 (IPSAV). Dr. Lebeau practiced in small animal medicine in a variety of private clinics, including the emergency medicine department at Centre DMV in Ville St-Laurent. During 14 years of practice, Dr. Lebeau devoted herself professionally to a veterinary clinic in the Montreal area well-known for its care of exotic animals. She was co-owner there for 9 years. Dr. Lebeau developed a rich and diverse expertise in exotic species (birds, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchillas, small rodents, reptiles and hedgehogs), her true passion. Dr. Lebeau completed further training in the field of avian and exotic animal medicine and surgery in the United States.<\/p>\n

Dre Lebeau s’est jointe \u00e0 l’\u00e9quipe de l’H\u00f4pital V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire de L’\u00cele-Perrot en 2011 et y a ouvert un d\u00e9partement de soins aux oiseaux et animaux exotiques. Elle exerce aussi avec beaucoup d’int\u00e9r\u00eat la m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire aupr\u00e8s des chiens et chats.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Dans les derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, Dre Lebeau a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une expertise dans la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes de comportements canins, f\u00e9lins et\u00a0 <\/span>aviaires.\u00a0<\/span>Elle a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs formations avec des sp\u00e9cialistes en comportement. Dre Lebeau fait aussi des ateliers \/conf\u00e9rences\u00a0 <\/span>dans les \u00e9coles de la r\u00e9gion, les garderies et r\u00e9dige des articles dans \u00a0<\/span>les m\u00e9dias r\u00e9gionaux concernant la m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire, la pr\u00e9vention des morsures chez les enfants, et la pr\u00e9vention des maladies animales.<\/p>\n

Son poste de gestionnaire au sein de L\u2019H\u00f4pital V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire de L\u2019\u00cele-Perrot a connu son plus grand d\u00e9fi en 2019-2020 avec la pr\u00e9paration du colossal \u00a0<\/span>projet de construction d\u2019un nouvel \u00e9difice pour d\u00e9m\u00e9nager l\u2019H\u00f4pital au 400 Grand-Boulevard \u00e0 L\u2019\u00cele-Perrot selon des exigences de qualit\u00e9\u00a0 <\/span>\u00e9lev\u00e9es fix\u00e9es par les propri\u00e9taires , Dre Lebeau et Dr Gagnon. C\u2019est avec une grande satisfaction que Dre Lebeau voit se dessiner le\u00a0<\/span>projet de ses r\u00eaves\u00a0au printemps 2020. Des services v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires multiples centralis\u00e9s dans un espace design moderne, ergonomique, o\u00f9 le confort du patient et du client sont prioritaires mais aussi la fluidit\u00e9 d\u2019espace de travail pour le personnel m\u00e9dical. Dr. Isabelle Foisy obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Montreal in 1993. She immediately left to complete an internship in small animal and exotic medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. She stayed for an additional year as an internal medicine resident before pursuing her career in private practice. Within state-of-the-art practices, she had the opportunity to utilize the knowledge and skills she had acquired in dentistry, exotic animals, abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy, internal medicine and preventive medicine to best serve all her patients with the dedication and compassion they deserve.<\/p>\n

After 21 years in the United States, she is happy to have returned to Quebec. It is with great pleasure that she joins Dr. Gagnon, her former classmate, as part of the team at L\u2019H\u00f4pital V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire de L\u2019\u00cele-Perrot, in February 2017.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Over the last three years, Dr. Foisy has joined several organizations to offer her services as a volunteer veterinarian.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

She has participated in spay and neuter campaigns to help fight the enormous overpopulation problem and improve the well-being of hundreds of cats and dogs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

She contributed to the evaluation and preventive treatments for a large exotic animal collection at a wildlife sanctuary.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Her work at a non-for-profit clinic has enabled her to sharpen her knowledge of tropical diseases, which are emerging in Quebec, especially those carried by ticks.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

She wishes to dedicate as much time as possible to these types projects that she values deeply.<\/p>\n

Dre Evgeniya Marinova a d\u00e9but\u00e9 son parcours en obtenant son doctorat en M\u00e9decine V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire en 1999 en Bulgarie (Universit\u00e9 de Trakia, Stara Zagora) o\u00f9 elle a exerc\u00e9 avec passion pendant cinq ans dans le domaine des animaux de compagnie. \u00c0 la suite de son d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement au Canada, son d\u00e9sir de continuer \u00e0 faire une diff\u00e9rence dans la vie des animaux l’a conduite \u00e0 la Facult\u00e9 de M\u00e9decine V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire de St -Hyacinthe, Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. Elle y a entrepris une formation rigoureuse pour obtenir son second doctorat en M\u00e9decine V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire et le droit de pratiquer au Qu\u00e9bec en 2020.<\/p>\n
