This prevention is important if your cat spends time outdoors, if there is contact with other animals that go outdoors, if there is exposure to mosquitos (risk of transmission of heartworm) or if he is a hunter. Did you know that a species of tapeworm may be transmitted by the ingestion of small rodents and another by fleas?
